JOB TITLE: Strength and Conditioning Internship
JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities include: Implementingthe Mariners Strength and Conditioning program during Extended Spring Training, as well as in-season with our Arizona League rookie ball team. Additional responsibilities include assisting Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator, managing and recording of daily/weekly/monthly player reports and implementation of sports science initiatives. Position may include travel to affiliate teams throughout the season.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field. NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist credential is required, current CPR certification, proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. A great work ethic, ability to work well with others and those of diverse backgrounds and cultures, good communication skills, and strong group leadership. Preferred previous experience with collegiate baseball or other team sports.
