Diamondbacks Mentorship Available!
The Arizona Diamondbacks are offering a summer mentorship program. This program offers a great opportunity for qualified Strength and Conditioning Coach prospects to gain some valuable observational experience. Applicants of the Diamondbacks Mentorship Program should be prepared for a three day opportunity to observe what it is like to be a Strength & Conditioning Coach with the Arizona Diamondbacks. This mentorship opportunity will provide students the opportunity to observe the day- to- day operations, and all other facets incorporated in operating strength and conditioning department for a professional baseball organization.
Applicants will be required to participate and perform well in an interview process to discussing their knowledge and skill as it relates to communication, processes, anatomy, function as well as, exercise selection and prescription.
Qualified applicants can apply by uploading both a resume and letters of recommendation, to the PBSCCS website at baseballstrength.org. Students will also be required to submit a letter of recommendation from their program director which should also be uploaded to the PBSCCS website. Applications will not be accepted until letters of recommendation have been received. Please send all materials via the website no MAIL INS. Listed below is information that must be included to qualify for participation:
- Cover Letter and Resume
- Letter(s) of recommendation from your program director
- Must be working toward a degree at a college or university
- Must have or be working towards CSCS
- CPR Certified
- Make a $50 donation to the Diamondbacks Foundation and pass a background check
- Should contain short and long-term goals
- Expectations of the mentorship
Dates of Mentorship from February, April 5th – Mid – September.
Mentorships are NON PAID.
