Paul DeMartinis, a friend to all in the professional baseball community passed away on September 5, 2015 after a long battle with stage 4 Metastatic Melanoma. In honor of his service to the game, the board of directors and the members of the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society (PBATS) have approved a scholarship in his name. Scholarship funds will go toward helping a young person study to be an athletic trainer.
