Matt Krause and Sean Marohn were selected by MLB to serve as American and National League strength and conditioning coaches, respectively for the 2015 All-Star Game at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati, Ohio. Krause, who worked in the Reds organization for eleven years, is in his second season as the Director of Strength and Conditioning Coach for the New York Yankees. He has 19 years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach and 16 years in professional baseball including three years in the Pirates organization as a minor league strength and conditioning coach and minor league strength and conditioning coordinator (2000-2002). Matt joined the Reds in 2003 and served as their Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for two years before being promoted to Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach in 2005. Matt is a NSCA Certified and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach (RSCC) and a NATA Certified Athletic Trainer.  He also holds a certification from the USWF Club Coach level, is a member of the NSCA Performance Committee and Vice President of the Professional Baseball Strength and Conditioning Coaches Society (PBSCCS).

Sean Marohn has 15 years of experience in professional baseball working for the Brewers, Pirates and Reds. He has worked as a Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach, Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach. He began his career in professional baseball in 2001 as the Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Milwaukee Brewers short season club, the Ogden Raptors. In 2002, he accepted a position with the Pirates as a Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach in Bradenton, FL. He joined the Reds in 2003 and served as the Strength and Conditioning Coach for the AAA Louisville Bats for two years (2003-2004). In 2005 he was promoted to Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the Reds and served in that capacity for nine years (2005-2013). Sean was promoted to Major League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at the end of the 2013 season. He is a NSCA Certified and Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach with Distinction (CSCS and RSCC*D).
