The Washington Nationals are seeking a full time strength & conditioning coach for the upcoming 2019 baseball season. The coach will serve as an assistant to the Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coordinator and will be assigned to one of the organization’s affiliates for the 2019 championship season. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: Assisting the Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coordinator during spring training, implementing and supervising the Nationals strength & conditioning program for the assigned affiliate for the 2019 championship season, assist with nutritional needs for their affiliate and contacting players as well as assisting with programs held over the off-season.


Applicant must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related health science field. Applicant must possess a current CSCS certification. Applicant must possess a current CPR certification. A Master’s degree, previous strength & conditioning experience, fluency in Spanish, previous baseball playing experience, and strong computer skills are strongly desired, however not an absolute necessity. Applicant is required to have a vehicle and laptop computer.


The selected coach will receive the following: room & board during spring training, salary based on experience, In-season housing allowance, and meal money on road trips during the season. Health benefits and a 401k package are provided. Airfare or mileage reimbursement will be provided to: spring training.
