Job Title: Full Time Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach

Job Description: The San Diego Padres Strength and Conditioning Department is looking to fill a full-time Strength and Conditioning Coach position. Duties include, but not limited to, implementing all aspects of the San Diego Padres Strength and Conditioning program, testing and evaluating athletes, leading team stretch, maintain the weight room, weekly and bimonthly reports, implementing and reporting off-season workouts. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with all members of different departments, work closely with the medical staff, and assist with the rehabilitation of injured players. Upon hire you will be required to relocate to Arizona. 2+ years of experience with professional baseball strength and conditioning is preferred. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science or related field
NSCA-CSCS
NSCA-RSCC
CPR/AED/First Aid certifications
Experience coaching in a professional baseball setting
Hard working, accountable, adaptable, desire to continue education in strength and conditioning field

Job Location: Peoria, AZ for Spring Training/Offseason Programs and San Antonio, TX with affiliate

Job Duration: Full Time
