ORGANIZATION: Philadelphia Phillies

JOB TITLE: Minor League Strength and Conditioning Associate



The Philadelphia Phillies are seeking an intern strength coach to assist in all aspects of strength, nutrition, mobility, speed, agility, flexibility, conditioning and recovery for each individual at the Dominican Republic Academy. The primary function of this position is to take the program set forth by our Head Major League Strength and Conditioning Coach and Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator and properly introduce it to their assigned players.


  • Properly integrate a comprehensive strength and conditioning program to MiLB Players
  • Collaborate with Dieticians on minor league catering at given affiliate
  • Maintain the Carpenter Complex weight room
  • Execute in-season testing on a schedule set forth by MiLB Strength Coordinator
  • Attend Spring Training and help with all testing and implementing of strength program
  • Be able to follow guidelines of The Phillies Shoulder programs
  • Participate in screening of the players
  • Required to report to Strength and Conditioning Coordinator any activity considered detrimental to player’s health and performance
  • Must work closely with athletic trainers and assisting them in duties
  • Any additional duties assigned by S&C Coordinator


·       First Aid/CPR Certified

·       CSCS Certified

·       Experience training athletes and supervising weight rooms

·       Prior baseball experience is preferred

·       Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is extremely beneficial

JOB LOCATION:   Dominican Republic & Clearwater, FL

JOB DURATION:   Part Time, 6 Months

SALARY/STIPEND/ETC.:   This is an hourly position. Housing is provided
