Job Title:           Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coach

Reports To:       Minor League Strength and Conditioning Coordinator

Job Purpose:     Carry out Cincinnati Reds strength and conditioning program on a daily basis at assigned affiliate.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Cincinnati Reds are looking for candidates to fill open positions in the Strength and Conditioning department. Selected candidates will report to Spring Training through Extended Spring Training and report to the assigned affiliate staying through the end of the championship season. Will be responsible for implementing all aspects of the Cincinnati Reds Strength and Conditioning program, including but not limited to:

o   Leading daily warm up; monitoring weight room and on field conditioning sessions.

o   Scheduling lifts at home and on the road.

o   Managing budgets for equipment and supplements.

o   Submitting bi-weekly and monthly reports.

o   Tracking daily activity.

o   Any other duty assigned by the coordinator.

Ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be accountable, communicate well and have a desire to continue his/her education in the strength and conditioning field.

Experience, Education and Licensure:

BA/BS in Exercise Science or related field required.

CSCS required.

Master’s degree preferred.

RSCC preferred

Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Work Environment:

Work is normally performed in a weight room or on field setting. Proper clothing attire is provided for job duties.

Hours will include days, nights, weekends and holidays.
