Sergio Rojas is currently the Latin American Strength & Conditioning Coordinator for the San Francisco Giants organization. He is from Southern California, raised in Corona, CA. He received his B.S. in Movement & Sports Science from University of La Verne in 2005. He received his Master’s in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University in 2008. He did personal training from 2005-2007. After, he was the Strength & Conditioning Coordinator from 2007-2011 at Whittier College, a D3 school. During this time he also did a summer internship at UCLA in 2009, primarily working with football and fall sports. When he first got into professional baseball, he was a Minor League Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Los Angeles Angels organization from 2012-2017. In 2012, he was in the AZL, and from 2013-2016 he was with High A Affiliate Inland Empire 66ers. In 2015, he was voted PBSCCS California League S&C Coach of the Year. He is married with 2 daughters, and currently resides in Gilbert, AZ. His hobbies include training, playing golf, snowboarding, wakeboarding, and of course line dancing and 2 stepping at country bars.
